John Hilton gave this painting to his wife Eunice on the occasion of the birth of their daughter, Kathi Hilton in 1939.
The painting was hung in the Hilton kitchen, and was admired and commented on by a host of visitors
who enjoyed the friendship of the Hiltons, and the fiery flavors of Eunice's renowned cooking.
