Bodega Bay resident Jean Warren says here paintings are reflections of the places she has lived and traveled. This ‘sense of place’ is an important aspect in her work, as she paints, en plein air, on location at the coast and beyond. Using the principles of design, rhythms of the scene are abstracted to create."

Watercolor ~ Inside & Out

Jean’s paintings are included in public, corporate and private collections. She has a painting on the cover of Places in Watercolor and work included in Best of Watercolor, Bridging Time & Space, and The Art of Layering, among others.

Jean is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, California Watercolor Association and full member of Society of Layerists in Multi-Media.

Lion	Giraffe	In 2000, Jean’s daughter Wendy asked Jean to create some African animal pictures to decorate the nursery for Jean’s newly born grandson. Jean created eight African animals. Wendy thought they were so good, she wanted to share them. She made a series of 1000 numbered off-set prints on acid free paper which Jean signed.
Each print measures 11 x 15 and is unframed. Each print is signed and numbered and has a certificate of authenticity.		Jaguar	Rhino
