Meador's title for this painting is, Sprinig Rain and is written on the back.
The farm pictured is just west of Valley Ford, CA just off Hwy 1.

Between 1950 and 1955, Joshua Meador visited Sonoma County many times.

Accrording to his wife Libby and son Philip, when Disney Studios was on hiatus, "Josh" would load the family's woody station wagon and tear drop trailer with camping gear and painting supplies and head out. They often camped in Bodega Bay where Josh painted the coast, the harbor, and small towns throughout the county.
