Peruvian Benigino Yamero Ruiz was born in 1880 and arrived as a teen aged immigrant in San Francisco in the late 1890's. His work was influenced by the French Barbizon school, and is similar to his friend, William Keith of the same period.
He died at the young age forty-nine in San Francisco. Little else is known of him.
